Providence Day Nursery is a full day care facility catering for 54 children between the ages of 0-5 years. Providence Day Nursery is situated in a Georgian house in Elland. It is conveniently situated for Halifax and Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.
Elland village is situated five minutes from Lindley centre in Huddersfield, three minutes from junction 24 M62 and is three minutes from Halifax. We are ideally positioned for Calderdale, Kirklees and Brighouse.
Providence House is set in its own grounds of mature trees with a private entrance and car parking facility. The outdoor play area features Lilliput Play town Physical Apparatus and disabled ramp. The nursery provides a spacious environment supported by friendly, warm, experienced and qualified staff.
Providence Day Nursery enjoys the reputation as one of extreme high quality and has received an award for the nutritious menu on offer. We are OFSTED registered and received “Outstanding” for our inspection in December 2007. Our inspection results are available here.

Security is high on our list of priorities, the property is protected by CCTV camera’s, allowing the staff within the building to monitor the comings and going of persons entering and leaving the building.

It is our aim at Providence Day Nursery to provide the highest quality of care and as such, are always striving to improving the standards within the nursery.
Providence Day Nursery recognises and respects the role of parents/guardians as primary carers and educators in a child’s life, parents/carers are welcome in the nursery at all times and have been given a special door code allowing them access into the nursery for security reasons. They have open access to records and are welcome to make suggestions regarding the care provided.
Parents/Carers are invited to attend an annual parents evening and are informed of nursery events via a parent information board, monthly reviews, parent information letters and through dry wipe boards situated outside all rooms, which portrays the nursery planning and daily / weekly /monthly activities that the children are involved in. Parents of the Baby Rooms and Toddler Room are handed observation sheets when they collect their children at the end of the day.
